VerifyFlow — Getting Started
For: Business users, non-technical teams, and anyone who wants to launch a verification workflow without writing code.
VerifyFlow is the no-code way to launch a hosted verification workflow on VerifyHuman. You pick a template, configure a few settings, and get a shareable hosted page — no API key management, no integration work.
What is VerifyFlow?
VerifyFlow creates a hosted verification page for you. Your users visit the link, complete the verification, and you see the result in your dashboard. The link is secure, reusable, and backed by VerifyHuman's verification infrastructure.
You can share the link:
- In an email or invitation
- On your website
- In a signup or onboarding flow
- As a protected access gate
Who is it for?
VerifyFlow is designed for:
- Business owners and operators who need to verify users without building an integration
- Non-technical teams — marketing, HR, ops, compliance — who need a verification step in their workflow
- Developers who want a fast path — launch with VerifyFlow and build deeper API integrations later
Common workflows
| What you want to do | VerifyFlow template |
|---|---|
| Stop bots and fake signups | Human Presence — Community Anti-Bot |
| Age-gate a product, service, or piece of content | Age Assurance |
| Verify sellers, vendors, or contractors before onboarding | Identity Assurance |
| Protect a form, group, or gated area | Human Presence |
| Add a trust review step for higher-risk workflows | Trust Review |
How to create your first Flow
Step 1: Open VerifyFlow
Log in to your dashboard and look for VerifyFlow in the sidebar, or go to /verifyflow.
If you are a first-time user, VerifyFlow will prompt you to answer three quick questions so it can suggest the right template.
Step 2: Choose a template
Pick the template that matches your use case. Each template is pre-configured for a specific workflow. You can browse all templates or use the Quick Setup wizard.
Step 3: Give your Flow a name
Name it something you will recognize, like "Adult Content Gate" or "Seller Onboarding." This name is internal — your users will not see it.
Step 4: Publish
Click Publish. VerifyFlow will:
- Create a live hosted page — the real link you share with users
- Create a test hosted page — a free test version you can try without spending live credits
Step 5: Share your live link
Copy the Live hosted page link from the Flow detail page and share it. That is your verification link.
What users experience
When a user opens your hosted page:
- They see a branded verification page (using VerifyHuman's default branding, or your custom branding on eligible plans)
- They complete the verification — which may involve a selfie, a liveness check, an ID photo, or a set of details, depending on the template
- They see a success or failure message
- If you have configured a redirect URL, they are sent there automatically
The experience is mobile-friendly and works in any browser with a camera.
Test Mode vs Live Mode
Every published Flow has two hosted pages:
| Page | What it does |
|---|---|
| Live hosted page | Real verification. Live credits are used. |
| Test hosted page | Sample run. No live credits charged. Displays a yellow Test Mode banner. |
Use the test hosted page to:
- Walk your team through the experience before going live
- Validate that the redirect URLs work
- Check how the page looks on mobile
Switch to the live hosted page when you are ready to share with real users.
Result outcomes
After a user completes a verification, the result appears in your dashboard with:
- A pass or fail outcome for the verification
- A confidence level (for human presence and age checks)
- A timestamp and verification ID
- (Optionally) a summary email or secure package delivery, depending on your delivery settings and plan
→ Result Outcomes and Delivery
Customizing your Flow
You can edit a published Flow at any time. From the Flow detail page:
- Rename the Flow
- Update redirect URLs — where users go after a successful or failed verification
- Customize branding — add your logo, brand color, page title, and custom messages (Growth plan and above)
→ Hosted page branding and customization
When to use APIs instead
VerifyFlow covers most business workflows. Consider using the underlying APIs directly if you need:
- Verification embedded inside your application (not on a separate hosted page)
- Programmatic control over when and how verifications trigger
- Server-side result handling — your backend needs to process the result before granting access
- A custom UX that does not match the hosted page format
