Overview

VerifyHuman uses a credit-based system where each verification consumes credits based on the product used. Credits can come from your subscription plan allocation or prepaid packages.

How Credits Work

1. Allocation - Your plan provides monthly credits
2. Consumption - Each verification deducts credits
3. Reset - Subscription credits reset monthly
4. Overflow - Prepaid credits used after subscription credits
5. Overage - Automatic billing if all credits exhausted

Purchasing Prepaid Credits

1. Go to Dashboard > Billing
2. Scroll to Prepaid Credits section
3. Select package size
4. Complete Stripe checkout
5. Credits added immediately

Overage Billing

When both subscription and prepaid credits are exhausted, overage billing activates.

Overage Rates

Overage Billing Process

1. Credits exhausted - All pools empty
2. Verification continues - Service not interrupted
3. Overage tracked - Each verification logged
4. End of month - Overage invoice generated
5. Automatic charge - Charged to payment method

Preventing Overages

• Enable alerts - Get notified at 80% usage
• Purchase prepaid - Add buffer credits
• Upgrade plan - Higher plan = more credits
• Monitor usage - Check dashboard regularly

Billing Cycle

Subscription Billing

• Monthly billing on subscription anniversary date
• Prorated upgrades - Pay difference for remaining days
• Downgrades - Take effect at next billing cycle
• Credits reset - On each billing date

Managing Your Subscription

Upgrade Plan

1. Go to Dashboard > Billing
2. Click "Change Plan"
3. Select new plan
4. Review prorated charge
5. Confirm upgrade
6. New credits available immediately

Downgrade Plan

1. Go to Dashboard > Billing
2. Click "Change Plan"
3. Select lower plan
4. Downgrade scheduled for next cycle
5. Keep current credits until renewal

Cancel Subscription

1. Go to Dashboard > Billing
2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
3. Confirm cancellation
4. Access continues until billing period ends
5. Reverts to Free plan

View Usage & Invoices

1. Go to Dashboard > Billing
2. Usage tab shows current consumption
3. Invoices tab shows billing history
4. Download invoices as PDF
